Nov. 22, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Michael Survis, 63, of West Bend, found peace on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born on July 28, 1953 to Forest and Ruth (nee Bandle) Survis in the Town of Barton. He graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1971. On August 30, 1975 he was united in marriage to Sandra Pamperin at Zion Church in Allenton.
Mike worked at a number of tool and die shops and later entered ownership of M&L Machine Tool and Manufacturing. He loved listening to classic country music and watching the Green Bay Packers, but his favorite pastime was spending time at “the shack” in Ladysmith, WI. He did his best to be brave for his family and lived with strength and humor up to the end. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
Those Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory includes his loving wife of 41 years, Sandra Survis; three children, Katherine Survis, Adam (Yvonne) Survis, and Dustin Survis; a granddaughter, Eleanor Survis; his mother, Ruth Survis; three sisters, Sheila (Frank) Bauer, Susan (Wayne) Kleinmann, and Alice (Andrew Jr.) Breit; two brothers, Daniel (Judith) Survis and Bruce (Judith) Survis; a sister-in-law, Mary Survis; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He joins in eternal life his father, Forest Survis, and two brothers, Steven Survis and Gene Survis.
A Christian Victory service in remembrance of Mike will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Burial will be at Newark Cemetery.
