July 24, 2025 – Dodge Co., Wi – On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 3-vehicle crash on US Highway 151, approximately 2 miles south of State Highway 26 in the township of Chester.

Preliminary investigation showed a 2009 Lincoln MKX operated by a 62-year-old Waupun man was traveling south on US Highway 151 when it struck a 2021 Icehouse Trailer attached to a 2022 Ford F350 which was operated by a 42-year-old man from Loyal, Wisconsin.
The 2022 Ford F350 then struck the rear of a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban operated by a 37-year-old man from Tampa, Florida.
The 2022 Ford F350 and the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban were both stopped on US Highway 151 at the railroad crossing for a passing train when the crash occurred.
The driver and occupants of the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban along with the driver and sole occupant of the 2022 Ford F350 were uninjured as a result of the crash.
The driver, and sole occupant, of the Lincoln MKX was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
Assisting at the scene was The Dodge County Emergency Response Team, The Waupun Police Department, the Waupun Fire Department, Life Star EMS, and the Beaver Dam Fire Department.
