August 31, 2021 – West Bend, WI – Dear Editor, The ninth annual West Bend Community & Alumni Scholarship Foundation (WB COLUMNS) 5K Run/Walk: āNot Just a Walk in the Park,ā held on Thursday, August 5, was a success.

We saw 162 participants register to run or walk the 5K course in Riverside Park. We are happy to report that, with our communityās help, West Bend Columns raised over $30,000 to be donated to help give local high school graduates scholarships for their education.
We would like to thank the many volunteers who worked hard to insure the run/walkās success, as well as the following donors for their generous support: West Bend Mutual Insurance Companyās Charitable Fund, Pick Heaters, Murphy & Prachthauser SC, Horicon Bank, First Weber Group Foundation, Carl and Marlene Wegner, Chuck and Karen OāMeara, Schensema CPA, Joel and Laurie Kirsch, Robert W.
