November 9, 2025 – West Bend, Wi – With Thanksgiving approaching, we are reminded how much we have to be grateful for—especially after the August 10 sewer backup on N. 16th Avenue that caused so many problems in our neighborhood.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Judy Steffes, Chris Thompson, and Riley Hansen for organizing a fundraiser for the 16th Avenue flood victims, and to Gary’s Place for graciously hosting the event. A special thank you also to the wives of Chris and Riley for their support and involvement.
Dan and I are so deeply thankful for everyone who helped us in any way—whether through financial assistance, helping clean up after the sewer backup, preparing meals, doing laundry, or offering encouragement. All of those “little things” meant the world to us.
We are also grateful to our many relatives, friends, and wonderful neighbors who were there for us with food, donations, moral support, and a helping hand when we needed it most. A sincere thank you as well to Calvary Assembly of God Church for their generosity and kindness.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who stood by us during our lowest times. Your compassion and care have meant more than words can express.
May God bless you all for being there for us in our greatest time of need.
With heartfelt thanks,
Dan and Rita Fellenz
