West Bend, WI – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1393 in West Bend, WI, is inviting the community to tee up for a good cause this summer as the organization hosts its inaugural golf outing to support veterans and veteran organizations in need.
The first-ever outing hosted by VFW Post 1393 will take place Saturday, June 13, 2026, at West Bend Lakes Golf Club. The event is designed to bring together community members, golfers, and supporters for a day of camaraderie while raising funds that directly benefit veterans.
Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The event will open with an honor guard presentation and the National Anthem at 8:55 a.m. before the shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Golfers will compete in a four-person, 18-hole scramble. Early bird registration is $100 per golfer if paid by May 31. After that date, the cost increases to $125 per player.

The final deadline to register is June 7, 2026, and registration forms are available at the VFW post, 260 Sand Drive, West Bend, Wi.
The registration fee includes a golf cart, lunch at the course, two drink tickets, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and dinner following the outing at the VFW post.
Community members who do not golf are still welcome to participate. A dinner-only option will be available at the VFW for $15.
Local businesses and individuals also have an opportunity to support the event through hole sponsorships, where sponsor names will be displayed at tee boxes. Sponsorship levels include Platinum ($1,000), Gold ($500), Silver ($200), and Bronze ($100).
Organizers say the outing is intended to become an annual tradition that supports veterans while bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.
