Madison Klemme awarded $6,000 Don & Corrine Mlodzik Family Scholarship

March 10, 2026 – Peoria, AZ – Kewaskum High School Senior Madison Klemme was recently awarded the 7th annual Don and Corrine Mlodzik Family Scholarship. Madison plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI, to achieve an Associate Degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology.

Madison expressed that she has been passionate about helping others through the medical field since she was young. She chose Neurodiagnostic Technology because brain activity has always been fascinating to her.

This degree focuses on monitoring and diagnosing irregularities in electrical activity in the brain.

According to retired KHS Chemistry Teacher Carla Schmitt, Madison “has consistently demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and a deep sense of purpose in everything she does. Madison approaches every task with diligence and integrity, always going above and beyond what is expected of her.”

“After growing up in a small town like Kewaskum, I have grown to appreciate the small things and qualities that others usually deem insignificant.” This statement from Madison’s scholarship application stood out. For a 17-year-old to grasp this concept before they move away is quite perceptive.

Along with maintaining a high GPA at KHS, Madison is involved in FFA, track, National Honor Society and multiple clubs. Madison also has three part-time jobs. Three!

The Mlodzik family offers their congratulations to Madison and wishes her well in her academic journey and pursuit of a fulfilling career in the medical community. “It is a pleasure to lighten the financial burden of education for someone who has worked so hard to put herself in a position of success,” said Gary Mlodzik, son of Don and Corrine Mlodzik.
