Slinger Police release statement regarding alleged officer misconduct

March 31, 2026 – Slinger, Wi – Slinger police have released a statement regarding an investigation into alleged officer misconduct.

According to police: Charges for felony misconduct in public office have been referred by the West Bend Police Department against a former officer of the Slinger Police Department to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. Slinger Police Department requested the assistance of West Bend and Grafton Police Departmments to conduct a criminal investigation following the results of an internal inquiry based on accusations received on December 16, 2025. 

The officer was hired by the Slinger Police Department in 2022 and resigned in 2025.

The Slinger Police department remains steadfast in our commitment to holding all officers to the highest standards of conduct.
