VIDEO | Storm damage as tree falls on house in Hartford, WI | By Sally Jensen

July 2, 2026 – Hartford, Wi – A storm carrying 50-mile-per-hour winds left damage in its wake in Washington County, WI, on Thursday afternoon.

Fire crews responded at 6:48 p.m to 414 N. Main Street as a tree fell onto a house. Power lines were down. Hartford Electric was also on scene. No injuries were reported.

Ominous clouds were also reported in the Kewaskum area.

As of 9:15 p.m. We Energies was reporting 2923 power outages in Washington County, Wi. Ozaukee County had 2491 outages.

In local municipalities, Germantown has the most outages with 1494. Hartford and West Bend have about 50 people without power.
