July 13, 2026 – Kewaskum, WI – The family of Reinhard Follmann shares his peaceful passing at home on July 8, 2026.

Survived by his wife, Rosalie (nee Vollmer) of 61 years; 4 children: Erika (Scott), Mark (Karen), Kristopher (late Nicole), and Derek; Grandchildren: Morgan, Jake, Luke, Roland, Miranda, and many other relatives and close friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mathias and Barbara (nee Roemer) and his 3 brothers: Rudolph, Fr. Roland O.S.A., Erich (Ardella); sisters-in-law LaVilla Wilson, Elfrieda Staehler, brothers-in-law, Larry Wilson and Bruce Dahlem.
Born in Chicago to German immigrants, he attended Catholic grade schools and graduated from Niles Township High School in IL. Reiny was an accomplished cabinet maker beginning his career at O.V. Palmquist & Sons in Chicago. Reiny served his country in the US Army.
Following Reiny and Rosalie’s marriage they moved to Rosalie’s family farm in Wisconsin. Reiny enjoyed caring for livestock and doing field work but his true passion remained woodworking and resumed his career as a cabinet maker in Milwaukee at Glenn Rieder until his retirement.
His uncompromising attention to detail and creative talent was evident in the heirloom quality products he created until the day of his passing.
He was an active parishioner of St Michael’s Catholic Church serving as a lector, choir member, religious instructor and church trustee for over 50 years.
Reiny remained busy in retirement delivering meals with the Washington County Meal Program and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing Sheepshead with the XYZ Club in Kewaskum and was known to tell jokes. He had a great sense of humor and never missed his daily crossword puzzles.
Visitation will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 8883 Forest View Road, Kewaskum, WI on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. until noon with a Mass of Christian Burial and burial to follow.
