Letter to the Editor | Bernie Newman for Assembly 58 | By Dan Schulist

August 6, 2026 – West Bend, Wi – I would encourage you to vote for Bernie Newman for Assembly in this years Republican primary on August 11.
Letter to the Editor ernie
I’ve know Bernie for 10 years and he has always been one to encourage open discourse and good conversations.  Wanting to help keep people informed about local, state and federal issues through the Common Sense Citizens by bringing people face to face with those who make a key decisions in our state or those who want to be in that position.
I believe Bernie to be a stand up conservative at a time where the word has become an old worn glove used by everyone in this county when running for office.
We need more independent minded conservatives like Bernie on the Republican side who are not afraid to express and stand up for their own ideas and help bring some real change.
Let’s vote for people over politics this year!
