September 7, 2026 – West Bend, Wi – Fire crews are on scene of an apartment fire at 2123 Barton Avenue in West Bend, Wi.
UPDATE | Neighbors say, “I live here. Everyone is okay. Somebody put their grill away while it was still hot and set some stuff on fire in their garage. We are all back inside now.” Kristine Krueger
The call came in around 10 a.m. West Bend Fire responded with mutual aid from Kewaskum, Jackson, Allenton, St. Lawrence, Newburg, and Germantown.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area of 144 just north of Salisbury as emergency vehicles are working to access the scene.
