Hartford, WI – My name is Adeline Held and I just want to give a special THANK YOU to everyone who came to the Washington County Fair Junior Livestock Auction and for supporting all the kids who sold an animal.
I am 9 years old, a member of the Hi-Lite Happy Workers 4-H Club and attend Peace Lutheran School in Hartford.
This was my first year and I made it into the auction with my steer Fruit Snack and sold him to Gehrings Meat Market for $5.00/lb.
Thank you so much everybody who bid on Fruit Snack, because your bid made the amount I got in the end higher. I am already going to be starting my new steers in a couple weeks.
Can’t wait till next year’s fair.
