November 10, 2025 – Boltonville, Wi – A successful hunting weekend for Chucker Dreher of West Bend, WI, who bagged a monster buck.

Dreher said he let five smaller bucks pass in the morning and then grunted in a nice 14 pointer. He let go one shot from 20 yards and managed a perfect bullseye to the heart. Tracking the buck was relatively easy.
“He went about 45 yards and then somersaulted,” said Dreher. The buck, estimated to be between 4 to 5 years old, weighed in at 194 pounds.

Dreher has been in “the news” before. Earlier this year he found a tagged bat in Kewaskum.
In January 2024 Dreher picked up an albino deer carcass on Highway 28 just east of St. Michaels. Click HERE to read that story.

Dreher was so proud of his trophy buck, he stopped to show his mom.

Wisconsin’s 9-day gun-deer season starts November 22, 2025.
