Obituary | Connie Jean Freeman (Rogers), 69 of West Bend, Wi

January 21, 2026West Bend, Wi – Connie Jean Freeman (Rogers), 69 of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away January 16, 2026 surrounded by her daughters.

She was born in Colorado and was the oldest of 3 children. She met John Rogers in high school and got married in 1974. They had five daughters together before their divorce.

Connie was a homemaker as well as a crafter.  She specialized in sewing beautiful dresses for her daughters for every occasion as well as for others.

Connie was a very talented woman and spent her time developing and mastering the skills of basketweaving, sewing, knitting, jewelry making and Native American artwork.
On the weekends you could find her at craft shows across the area demonstrating, selling, making new friends as well as sometimes even trading her artwork for others work.
Connie is proceeded in death by her parents Harlan and Silva Freeman. She is survived by her daughters; Heather Kangas, Holly Knoeck (Matthew), Hope Humphreys, Hannah Hoffman (Greg) and Heidi Wegner (Matthew) as well as her sister Harla and brother Jeff. Connie was also blessed with 15 grandchildren: Jonathan, Dakota, Dustin (Heather); Michaela, Meagan, Matthew (Holly); Melody and Charity (Hope); Gavin, Austin, Andy, Rory (Hannah); Jayce, Liam, Bennette (Heidi).
Connie will be missed by many friends made at Meadowbrook Manor of West Bend as well as the many friends she has made over the years amongst the crafting community.
Connie will be remembered by her love of family, friends, crafts and love for the Native American culture and history.

The family will be having a private celebration of life.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude for the stories shared, condolences, thoughts and prayers.

Connie may be gone from this world but will always remain in our hearts through memories and her craftwork.
