Dodge County Sheriff’s Office ICAC arrest | By Dodge County Sheriff

Dodge Co., Wi – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office investigated an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation after we received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Dodge

As a result of the tip and a subsequent investigation, Kaden D. Mueller, 20, of Lomira, was booked into the Dodge County Jail on the following charges:

-Possession of Child Pornography, a Class D Felony

-Felony Bail Jumping, a Class H Felony

-Resist/Obstruct and Officer, a Class A Misdemeanor

Kaden Mueller has open bond conditions, as he was previously arrested and charged by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office in February of 2024 for possessing child pornography.  In that case, an appropriate cash bond with conditions of that bond was set by the assigned judge.

The above new charges are being requested of the Dodge County District Attorney’s Office. As in all cases, all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A reminder that the purpose of a bond under the law in Wisconsin is not to punish, but to ensure appearance in court.  Separately, conditions of the bond are set for the protection of the public.  According to court records, all court appearances have occurred, but the bond conditions have now allegedly been violated, and that will be a consideration for the court in this new case.

Additionally, as a reminder, all individuals arrested and booked into the jail can be found on the “Arrest” tab of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office App.

Questions may be directed to Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt.
