Took a stroll downtown West Bend to see how the destruction of Old Settlers Park was progressing. Lois was on N. Main Street walking her neighbor’s dog.
“What’s this big square thing going to be?” she asked, pointing to the large brick structure at the west end of Vest Park. “You know everything – what are they saying.”
“Looks like it’s going to be a swimming pool for dogs,” I said.
Poor Lois. I couldn’t help myself.
Now that Bob Bonenfant has left the radio, somebody has to keep stirring things up in WB.
Let’s see how far that one goes.
Hopefully it’ll get legs, like the time Bob said the city was going to spend taxpayer money putting a dome on Regner Park.
