November 26, 2025 – Ozaukee Co., Wi – *MULTIPLE TRAFFIC CRASHES ON I43*
The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is handling multiple traffic crashes on I43 with lane closures:
*I43 southbound at CTH LL in the Town of Port Washington, a semi jack-knifed and is blocking both lanes. Southbound I43 is closed, and traffic is being diverted onto CTH D in Belgium.
*I43 northbound at STH 33 in the Town of Saukville, a semi traveling southbound lost control and crossed the median into the northbound lanes striking multiple vehicles. I43 northbound traffic is closed at the overpass, and traffic is being diverted off at STH 33.
The interstate is expected to be closed in these areas for several hours while first responder crews work the scenes. Updates will be provided as the roads are opened back up.
