October 1, 2023, is Life Chain Sunday; stand up for the nation’s most vulnerable humans | By Jody Geenen

West Bend, WI – Sunday, October 1, 2023, is recognized annually across the nation as “Life Chain Sunday” – a day to reflect upon and demonstrate your support and protection of human life at every stage.

This year the event will take place – rain or shine – from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of Paradise Drive and Main Street in West Bend. Participants will gather in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby for prayer and then make their way to the designated area. Signs will be provided.

LIFE

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful, prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals standing in remembrance of at least 65 million lives lost to abortion, praying for our nation, for people in crisis situations, and for a permanent end to abortion.  It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children, hurts women and men, and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception to natural death.

Since 1987, believers have gathered nationwide on the first Sunday of every October to prayerfully stand for Life.

Each year, Life Chains form in cities nationwide to make a public, prayerful, peaceful stand for Life.
