November 9, 2021 – Hartford, WI – A seasonal transformation in Hartford as Christmas lights, bright red bows and white wicker deer line the trail along Rubicon River near the Mill Pond.
Work crews took advantage of warmer temps in the upper 50s stringing green boughs across the wooden walking bridge over the dam. Street light posts were circled in green and topped with a wreaths and red bow. Trees were laced with green, red and white lights.
With Daylight Saving in place darkness fell around 5 p.m. unveiling a warm display of seasonal lights.
Even the animals came dressed for the occasion.
The City of Hartford is preparing for its annual Christmas Parade which steps off Saturday, November 13 at 3 p.m. The parade will be broadcast live on Washington County Insider. After the parade will be a tree lighting in Hartford.
