Obit: Travis J. Rosenboom, 37, West Bend

Travis J. Rosenboom, 37, of West Bend, died in his sleep on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home.

He was born on January 31, 1979 to Roger and Judith (nee Twachtmann) Rosenboom in West Bend. He graduated from West Bend High school. During his senior year he did a Co-Op at Rychtik Welding in Grafton and continued working there after high school until his death. He enjoyed trap shooting at Barton sportsman club and going deer hunting with his father and brother in Wisconsin Dells. He liked racing, especially Matt Kenseth. He will be missed by all of us left behind.

Those Travis leaves behind to be with Jesus include his parents, Roger and Judy Rosenboom; sister, Brenda (Chris) Baer; brother, Trevor (Tracy Kress) Rosenboom; three nieces, Victoria Baer, Stephanie Kress, and Shauna Kress; two nephews, Roman Baer and Benjamin Baer; Many of his closest Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from MN and SD; and many irreplaceable friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Dorothy Rosenboom; maternal grandparents, Siegfried and Laura Twachtmann; two uncles, Gary Rosenboom and Wally Otto.

A funeral service in remembrance of Travis will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Rev. Kurt Schaser will officiate. Burial will be on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Newark Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service with a light lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to the family or if you please Judy would like daylilies to plant outside that she may see them and remember Travis.

The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Travis’s arrangements.
