Washington Co., WI – Coming up September 22, 2021 it is the annual United Way of Washington County drive thru food & hygiene collection from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Washington County Fair Park.

In 2020 the event was a huge success as volunteers and the United Way team collected boxes and bags of canned items and dry goods during its annual campaign kickoff.

United Against Hunger was a drive-thru event held at the Washington County Fair Park.

Last year’s annual campaign featured Prudence Pick Hway, Debra Cahoon, Amy Salberg, Rose Petitte and Jacci Gambucci.

Successful United Way food drive

This event is one of the biggest food drives in Washington County history and was done in a COVID-safe manner. Participants drove into Washington County Fair Park and were able to drop off their donations without leaving their vehicles. Volunteers from the United Way’s Emerging Leaders group were on hand to collect donations.
