Washington County, WI – The traditional Veterans Day program will be held “at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” again this year on Thursday, November 11, 2021. The short 15-minute program will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Area veterans and residents will gather that morning on Veterans Plaza at the corner of 5th Avenue and Poplar Street in West Bend; it is adjacent to the Old Courthouse Museum located at 320 S. 5th Avenue.
A brief statement will be read followed by a moment of silence. Â At 11 a.m., a siren will sound and the West Bend Veterans Honor Guard will fire the traditional three-round volley followed by the playing of Taps.
The public is invited to stand with us as we remember.
