West Bend, Wi – West Bend West Spartans JV1 took on the Plymouth Panthers in an away match. The Spartans fought for a tough three set match win, with scores of 20-25, 25-13, and 27-25.
Norah Johnson had two strong blocks, Johnson and Kennedy Deppert each had 4 kills, Maci Spaeth had a strong defensive game with 12 digs and 4 ace serves, Eloise Hughes added 8 assists and Samantha Kelly had the match winning ace serve.
JV1 worked very hard at playing together as a team and picking each other up.
The Spartans fought hard in order to come from behind to win the match.
The JV1 team is 3 – 0 in the Glacier Trails Conference. The Spartans next match is Tuesday, September 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Sheboygan South.
