December 9, 2025 – Washington Co., Wi – Neighbors in Slinger, Germantown, Thompson, Myra, and the rest of Washington County, Wi, are under a Winter Weather Advisory through Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service the forecast has been updated to include a Wintry Mix this evening into Wednesday.

This Evening into Wednesday
- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect this evening into Wednesday morning
- Wintry Mix expected with potential impacts to the commutes this evening and Wednesday morning
- Snow is expected with some rain and possibly freezing rain as well
- Best potential for accumulating snow across central Wisconsin
- Southwestern Wisconsin has the best potential for rain and possibly freezing rain. May see a period of dry conditions overnight
- Evening and early overnight may feature a south to north transition to mixed precipitation/rain but uncertainty remains on the northward extent of the transition
- Cold front will push through late tonight with a full transition back to light snow, lingering snow through at least Wednesday morning
- Rain over cold pavement could cause minor icing and lead to slick spots
- Snow is expected with some rain and possibly freezing rain as well
A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended to Sauk, Iowa, Dane, Lafayette, and Green counties for freezing rain potential with some accumulating snow.
It remains important to understand that subtle shifts in the track could alter snow totals across all of southern WI, perhaps substantially.
If the transition zone struggles to lift north the region could largely see snowfall thus raising amounts everywhere.
