Wintery mix with freezing drizzle, snow, & gusty winds

December 10, 2025 – Washington Co., Wi – The National Weather Service has issued an update regarding the lingering wintry mix and additional snowfall for neighbors in the Town of Kewaskum, Barton, Polk and across Washington County, Wi. What sort of snowfall totals are you seeing?
  • A Winter Weather Advisory in effect thru 9 AM CST this morning
  • Lingering mix of rain/drizzle and freezing drizzle mixing in with a little snow over the next couple hours will remain possible within the dry slot region, ahead of the wrap around snow to the north.
  • Another round of light snow is expected now through this morning pushing in from the north and sweeping through southern WI. Up to an inch of additional snow is possible with the best chance for higher amounts (up to 1.5 inches) in the far southeast which could get some lake enhancement/effect.
  • Gusty winds expected behind the cold front this morningwith gusts up to 40 mph. In addition, the cold front will usher in temperatures in the mid 20s, which could cause some slick spots from refreezing water on roads.
What has changed?
  • Western and central parts of the Advisory extended through 9 AM CST for lingering light snow and blustery winds.
  • Impactful snow is largely over with the wrap around light snow this morning bringing just up to an inch or so with perhaps slightly higher snow totals in southeast WI (up to 1.5 inches) if the lake enhances southeast snowfall
