Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc., will hold its 4th annual Fiesta Latina on Sunday, May 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Regner Park’s Pavilion in West Bend.
This Latin American Cultural Celebration and Fundraiser for Casa will appeal to all ages. The organization will also be celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Admission, children’s activities and games are free.
Latin American food and beverages will be available at vendor booths.
The day will start with a bilingual Mass joined by the mariachi band “Trio Invasion” followed by a special look back at 10 years.
The dance group “Ballet Folklórico México en la Piel” will perform various traditional dances from Mexico and the Milwaukee Brewers Chorizo racing sausage will make an appearance.
There will be a salsa dancing demonstration by Mattek Ballroom Dancing, a Jalapeño eating contest, and Zumba will add some fun audience participation, followed by the talented band “Anzures Musical.”
A large raffle drawing will close the event. People do not have to be present to win.
Raffle tickets will be available at Casa (479 N. Main Street) before and during the event. The cost is $5 each or $20 for 5. Dozens of prizes are included but top prizes are: Green Bay Packers commemorative football with printed signatures, $200 cash, Limited edition artwork, 2 tickets to see Elf the Musical at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, King suites at the West Bend and Grafton Hampton Inn & Suites, Bloody Mary Basket, Margarita Basket, Science and Industry Museum Passes, Harley-Davidson Museum Passes, Lammscapes Garden Basket, Summerfest tickets, and much, much more.
Tours of fire department equipment, face painting, a bounce house, complimentary hair styling for kids, and other children’s games and activities will be offered.
