Meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight regarding $23.9 million for Highway 60 reliever route.

Jan. 18, 2017 – Hartford, WI – There’s a community meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Hartford Town Hall tonight hosted by the No Reliever Route Committee.
This meeting will be the most exciting one to date as the 30% Engineering Study on the construction of the Highway 60 Reliever Route has been completed.
This study has confirmed the concerns of many Washington County taxpayers as the cost of the route is now estimated at $23.9 million.
Some aspects of the study will be covered at the community meeting in preparation for the Joint Washington County Public Works and Executive Committee meeting which will be held Jan. 24 at 7 a.m. at the Ziegler Building at the Washington County Fair Park.
Other topics include how to reach out to the full taxpayer basis of Washington County, funding for advertising of the ‘No Reliever Route’ cause, and an approach to the Public Hearing planned by Washington County on the topic scheduled for January 31.
Tonight’s meeting is free and open to the public.
