VIDEO | Paying it forward at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County

December 22, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – A Sunday series sponsored by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County a local organization that connects seniors with caring volunteers.

The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.

Interfaith is now launching Kindness Crews. A group of volunteers visit the home of a senior citizen and they’re on a mission to help with light housework and provide an hour of busy, constructive companionship.

On Thursday the first Kindness Crew descended onto Gloria’s house in West Bend. They tackled the dishes, mopped the floors, shook out some rugs and gave her some company and conversation for a while.

Kindness Crews lend a helpful hand to people in the community who need it most. They’re an active group through Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County.
