Changing screen resolution

Postby Viet Nam Vet » Tue Nov 11, 2008 9:20 pm

OK, I'm confused. I am trying to change the screen resolution on a computer (Not Mine) from the settings tab in display properties. It is set at 640X480 at this time and the screen is too big and the person is unable to view everything on the screen. The slider will not move therfore keeping me from changing the settings. Is there another way to change the screen resolution? Any help will keep me in good standing with this person. Thanks

Your graphics card in the computer may be maxed out at the reseloution it is set on. If it is you will have to change the graphics card in order to change the resolution to a higher setting.
