July 25, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – There’s a special shine on the barns, the benches, the Ziegler building and the grounds as the Washington County Fair prepares for its 164th celebration July 26 – 31.
Lots of updates have taken place led by a steady team including Kellie Boone, Keith Martin, Kyle Wagner, Cassie Olson, Annette Bock and Brenna Doran; all helped get everything on the grounds ship shape.

“My goal is to make things look better,” Martin said. “The Fair Park is beautiful, and people are really going to notice the TLC (tender loving care) put into the fairgrounds including painting and landscaping.”
The 133-acre fairgrounds have a ‘mom-and-pop’ feel from the lion head bubbler to the homey picnic tables to the dedication artwork and hat tips to history.

Boone said the team at the Fair Park has really pulled it together and can’t wait to show off all the improvements. “I’m really happy with their approach. They jumped in from the get-go and I can see the difference they’ve made already.”
