1 man seriously injured in 2-vehicle crash in Dodge County, Wi | By Sheriff Dale Schmidt

August 17, 2025Dodge Co., Wi – At 4:19 pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash with injuries on County Highway A I, just south of County Highway S in the town of Oak Grove, Dodge County, WI.  

Preliminary investigation shows a red 2023 Chevy Silverado was southbound on CTH A I and was driven by 66-year-old male from Bryon, Illinois.

A red 2012 Ford Focus was northbound on CTH A I, driven by a 21-year-old from Beaver Dam, failed to negotiate the curve, entered the northbound lane, and collided head-on with the southbound Silverado.  

The driver of the Chevy Silverado suffered minor injuries and was transported by Juneau EMS to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

 The driver of the Ford Focus suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to the Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc by Flight for Life.  There were no other occupants in either vehicle.  

Assisting at the scene were Juneau Fire Department, Juneau EMS, Horicon Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Flight for Life, and DCERT.  

Names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.  This crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
