3 people from Milwaukee arrested following armed robbery at Exxon on I41 near Lomira

 

Oct. 17, 2017 – On Oct. 17, 2017 the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received a report from West Bend Police Department that one of their Police Officers was on a traffic stop with a 56-year-old female. During the traffic stop the woman reported she had been robbed at the Exxon on I41 near Lomira.

The ensuing investigation revealed the woman stopped at the Exxon at approximately 1 a.m. to get a bottle of water. She reported being approached by a black male and a black female while she was in her car. The approaching female displayed a gun and demanded money.

The individuals were able to take the victim’s cell phone before she fled in her car. The victim then drove to West Bend where she was stopped by a West Bend police officer for reckless driving. She reported to the police officer, at that time, that she had been the victim of a robbery and her cell phone was taken.

While the West Bend police officer was on the traffic stop with the victim, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office had a traffic stop on USH41. It was determined, via communication between the West Bend police officer and the Washington Co Sheriff’s Office, that the subjects of this stop were suspects of the robbery at the Exxon gas station in Lomira.

Washington Co Sheriff’s deputies located a weapon in the car along with the victim’s cell phone. Three of the occupants from the suspect vehicle were transported to the Dodge County Detention Facility while further investigation is being completed.

Subjects of the stop that were transported to the Dodge County Detention Facility included:

A 19-year-old woman from Milwaukee arrested for obstructing an officer;

A 20-year-old man from Milwaukee arrested for possession of stolen property;

An 18-year-old woman from Milwaukee arrested for theft and placed on a probation hold for Department of Corrections.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office also issued multiple citations and requests for charges.
