Man injured after leg trapped in corn grinder | By Sheboygan Co. Sheriff

June 19, 2026 – Sheboygan Co., Wi – On Thursday, June 18, 2026 at approximately 1:25 p.m. Sheboygan County Emergency Communications received a 911 call regarding a farming accident located in the W3000 block of Wilson-Lima Road, in the Town of Lima.

The caller reported an 18-year-old male had a leg entrapped in a corn grinder. When responders arrived, they found him inside of a silo, entrapped in the equipment.

The patient was ultimately extricated and transported to a Milwaukee area hospital by Flight for Life-Theda Star with life-threatening injuries.

Public safety agencies involved were: Oostburg Fire Department and Jaws, Cedar Grove

Fire Department, Adell Fire Department, Oostburg First Responders, Orange Cross Ambulance, Flight for Life-Theda Star Air Medical Transport, and the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.

No further information will be released.
