September 8, 2026 – Colgate, Wi – Margaret Rose Kent, 79, of Colgate, WI, was called home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2026.

Margaret was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, a cherished grandmother, a loyal friend and truly one of the richest women in the world – rich beyond measure because of her faith in our Lord and the family she loved so completely.
Those Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Kristine Borneman (Lee) and James Kent; two grandchildren Katie Antonian and Hope Kent. She is further survived by her brother and sister in law Alan and Fran Gorichanaz; nephew John Gorichanaz; grand nephew Andy Gorichanaz, and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Erna Gorichanaz; her parents in law Owen and Erna Kent and her husband Roger Kent.
Margaret lived a humble life defined by love, hard work, generosity and servitude. By example she carried on her mother’s spirit and showed her children and grandchildren what it means to love one another.
Margret was a retiree of Smith and Nephew after 20 years of production and supervision and was one of three originally employed women still working in her department at her retirement. Perseverance and a strong work ethic was the legacy of her time in manufacturing. She was a certified cosmetologist in her younger years and enjoyed the personal relationships in this field.
She loved rescue dogs and had many. Her last love was her famous Coco who was given to her by the rescue with enthusiasm. She nursed Coco out of her shell and provided many happy years to this little dog.
Margaret will be remembered by her unconditional love for others. She always extended a helping hand, a listening ear and gentle wisdom when needed. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the time she spent with the ones she loved.
Though our hearts are broken and her presence will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is with her dear savior Jesus and her love will continue to surround us and her spirit will live in every heart she touched.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Kymber NP and the staff at Serenity Villa in Slinger.
Also, Thank You with love to Marsha Hansen NP and the nurses and staff of Preceptor Hospice for the personal, compassionate and supportive care through all stages of this difficult and devastating Alzheimers/dementia journey.
A special “Thank you” to Retired Pastor Michael Feuerstahler for sharing God’s word with Margaret over the last several years.

A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetary in Hartord, WI
