September 16, 2026 – Town of Barton, Wi – A new destination for families, food lovers and anyone looking to step back into nature, is opening Thursday, September 17, just outside of West Bend, WI.
Adina Orchards, 3972 County Road D in the Town of Barton, is the vision of Brandon Kohn and his wife, Danielle. The couple have spent the past year transforming a former dairy farm and apple orchard into a gathering place featuring a market, an artisan collective, colorful flower fields and a renovated barn for events.
“We’re a place to just escape, leave your cellphone at home and come enjoy the outdoors,” Brandon said.
Drive onto the gravel entry and you’ll be welcomed by a pair of mature trees whose canopy wraps its arms around a property that has been home to over a century of farming. The Kohn’s have worked to continue that tradition and secure the lands history by freshening buildings that date to the early 1900s.
The families new business setting provides a comfortable landscape with a rustic log cabin, a colorful field of zenias and restoration of a small smokehouse.
Separated into sections, the Adina Market is a standalone building that features a welcoming commercial kitchen that will serve signature pizzas, along with homemade bakery.
“This year’s menu will be simple, with four or five varieties of pizza and three baked goods,” said Brandon acknowledging they are purposely starting small, with plans to expand the menu next year.

The market will also offer products from Wisconsin farmers and artisans. A pair of refridgerators is stocked with local meats and cheeses, dairy products and craft beers. The shelving along the adjacent wall features organic flour, pancake mixes and seasonal produce. “Our goal is to provide customers with ingredients to create a wholesome meal at home,” said Brandon.
Across the lot, will be Adina Collective which will feature products from Wisconsin artisans and craftsmen, including candles, pottery, textiles, shirts, hats and tallow hand creams.
“Adina Orchards is where tradition meets renewal. Revitalizing a once-loved orchard, we offer fresh, wholesome food, locally sourced goods, and a space to slow down, connect, and savor the season.”
The Kohn’s location includes 48 acres, with paths, fields and an orchard that visitors will be able to explore. A colorful zinnia flower field offers a place for families to take pictures, while yard games encourage visitors to stay and enjoy the property.
The renovated barn, which features the original fieldstone foundation, will provide space for events, live music and a place to relax during hot or uncertain weather.

The property’s agricultural history dates to at least the late 1800s, when it was a dairy farm. In the 1950s and 1960s, the land became an apple orchard, which was developed by a man named Paul Cypher. Brandon said visitors have shared memories of visiting the orchard as children and receiving apples from Cypher.
The couple plans to add approximately 14 varieties of apple trees over time, including Honeycrisp. Planting of the orchard begins next Spring.
Adina Orchards will open Thursday, September 17, for a short introductory season running through the end of October. The first full season is planned for next year, beginning in mid-May and continuing through the end of October.
Beginning October 1, visitors will be able to enjoy wagon rides into the fields and pick their own pumpkins.
Adina Orchards hours are:
- Thursday and Friday: 4 p.m. –8 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

On a side note:
– If Kohn’s name souncds familiar it’s because he operated several filling stations in Kewaskum and Campbellsport. After selling the stations, the couple jumped into a new venture in Adina Orchards.
