West Bend, Wi – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1393 in West Bend is combining Burger Night with a customer appreciation night and fundraiser on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026.
The fundraiser will benefit Karl’s Place, a homeless shelter for men and women in West Bend.
The evening will feature a Mushroom Swiss Burger as the special of the night. Customers can receive a free burger or cheeseburger with a donation to Karl’s Place.
The VFW will also have door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and desserts.
Live music will be provided by Liquor Salesman.
Donations must be new, manufactured and sealed goods. Items requested include:
- 13-gallon garbage bags
- Walmart gift cards
- Bottled water
- Bed pillows
- Latex gloves
- Multi-surface cleaners
- Toilet bowl cleaner
- Water softener salt
The event will be held at VFW Post 1393, 260 Sand Drive, West Bend.
