West Bend, WI – Lucas Serwe, Josh Yanke and CJ Garbisch are celebrating their first full year at Arrow Power Center, 7043 State Highway 144, as the business, entering its second winter season, has received high acclaim with industry recognition, an updated showroom and improvements to its building facade.
Serwe said the first year sales results were a complete surprise.
“Oh, no, I could never have expected this,” Serwe said. “Having CJ really made it work. He runs the show and does everything you can ask for; customer service, selling, fixing, coordinating. He does everything.”
Arrow Power has also focused on making the buying process easier for customers, including upfront pricing, accessible information online and in-house maintenance.
Arrow Power Center completed its first full program year with Ariens and Gravely, reaching a $2 million sales threshold. Serwe said the business is now the largest Ariens-Gravely dealer in Wisconsin.
“We won Midwest dealer of the year for Ariens for the growth we had year over year,” Serwe said.
Since purchasing the business, Serwe, Yanke, and Garbisch have made improvements throughout the building.
“Obviously we’ve been making upgrades since we bought it,” Serwe said. “We did a lot of work on the inside and cleaned up everything in the showroom as well as in the shop.”
Serwe said the goal was to give the building a fresh appearance while recognizing the history of the property, which dates to its days as Arrow Archery.
The building has a history that includes Arrow Archery and other businesses over the years. Serwe mentioned stories about a wood shop that manufactured signage and possible businesses that occupied the building before it became associated with lawnmowers.

“We try and make that buying process as easy as possible,” Serwe said. “You know, having all of our information, all of our website, everything accessible, pricing upfront.”
The business offers free delivery with new mower purchases, supplies for the first oil change and registration assistance. Serwe said the approach has attracted customers from southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
With summer equipment season winding down, Arrow Power is preparing for the transition to snowblowers.
“The big rush starts in the next week, getting your snowblower in, ready for preseason service, getting them tuned up, ready to go for when that first snowfall comes,” Serwe said.
Serwe encouraged customers to bring in their snowblowers for preseason tuneups before winter weather arrives.
The shop is also preparing for the seasonal changeover. Over the next week or two, the team plans to move snowblowers into the showroom, assemble equipment and get units ready for customers.
“In the next week or two we’ll start to get all the snowblowers out, put a bunch of them together, and have them ready to go,” Serwe said.
Arrow Power has already sold several dozen snowblowers, and Serwe said the business wants to be prepared for the season’s arrival.
“We always try and be prepared both on the service side and the sales side to have everything that everybody needs beforehand,” he said.

West Bend, Wi – When you walk into Arrow Power Center these days, you’ll notice a few things that are new: fresh drywall, a more defined showroom, and a young local business owner who is excited to continue the tradition of personal service and quality repairs.
Owners Josh Yanke and Lucas Serwe of Stellar Motors, have teamed up again, expanding their business ventures by purchasing Arrow Power Center in West Bend.
“I kept the name,” Serwe said. “People already knew Arrow, and the logo—with the grass and the snowflake—really tells the story. We’re here year-round, selling and servicing both lawn mowers and snow blowers.”
Arrow Power Center, 7043 State Road 144N, remains an authorized dealer for Ariens and Gravely, with a growing inventory that now includes string trimmers, blowers, and other handheld equipment. “We’ve got dozens of mowers and zero turns in stock right now, and that’s just the start,” Yanke said.
While the owners have built a reputation in auto sales and service, the move into small engine repair and equipment sales may seem like a shift, but the decision came naturally.
So did the decision to retain Arrow employee CJ Garbisch who had worked part-time at Arrow for a decade under previous owner Gene Sommers.
“When I saw the business for sale, I asked CJ about it,” Serwe said. “I was kind of surprised he didn’t want to take it over, but that opened the door for us to have the conversation that got us here today.”
Now, Yanke, Serwe and Garbisch are carrying the business forward, with an emphasis on customer service and quicker turnaround times on repairs. “Lead times are always a challenge in this industry,” said Garbisch. “Parts aren’t as simple as ordering for cars, but we’re working hard to get people’s equipment back to them faster.”
Alongside updates inside the building, Arrow Power Center also has a new website—something the business hadn’t had before, aside from a single-page listing.
While Arrow Power Center joins existing small engine shops like Barton Small Engine and Tennies Ace Hardware, the owners see plenty of room to serve the community. “At the end of the day, it’s about providing honest, fair service,” said Yahnke. “Anything you need for the outside of your home—that’s what we we’re here for.”
“It’s exciting. We’re just looking forward to growing and helping folks take care of their yards and their homes,” Garbisch said.
