Washington Co., WI – There are plenty of family-friendly activities at the Washington County Fair and WashingtonCountyInsider reporter Ari Martin, 13, had to check out the Ag-Adventure Land. It’s located to the west of the cow barn.
Ag-Adventure Land takes kids, and their parents, through a hands-on shopping experience on the farm… with a hint of education thrown in.
Adeline, 6, of Slinger was our tour guide. “You read the red signs and that will tell you what to do,” she said.
“Do you know one pound of sheep’s wool can be 10-miles long,” said Ari quoting one of the many ‘fun facts’ posted at Ag-Adventure Land.

“Did you know chickens have no teeth,” said Adeline.
Some of the farming assignments included picking apples and pears off a tree, tapping a tree for sap, and milking a cow. (a pretend cow but it squirted milk pretty real).
