Allenton, WI – Allenton American Legion Post No. 483 along with the Allenton Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Fish Fry on Friday, August 20 beginning at 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. or until they run out of fish.
Commander Rodney Delcore said the fish fry is available via a drive thru at Veterans Park on First Street in Allenton or eat in the park under the trees or in the pavilion.
A meal will include two pieces of fish, cottage fries, cole slaw and bread. Refreshments are available for purchase.
Music will be performed by Ebert’s Music Machine. Tickets are available the day of the event at Veterans Park, 127 First Street, Allenton.
Ron Naab has challenged friends to help the Legion reach 750 meals Friday night.
“I know we can do this,” said Naab. “Last year we sold 985 meals at our August Fish Fry.”
