Most recently, Boy Scout Michael Montgomery completed two new Little Libraries set up along the Rubicon River Trail.

This location is immediately next to the parkway arbor/bench completed by Eagle Scout Bill Ohm for his Eagle Project. Additionally, this location is in the park and walkway next to the Born Learning Trail installed by Broan Manufacturing and facilitated by the United Way of Washington County.

Finally, it is adjacent to where the Volunteers for a Beautiful Hartford completed the Alpine Garden and new stone stairway below the Millpond Dam. Four community projects dedicated and donated to the city all in one small park area.

This photo was taken when parks crews were adding topsoil around the shelter constructed by Boy Scout Craig Beine who selected building this for his Eagle project.

The topsoil we placed late last Fall washed away with the Spring flooding. Fencing is now around the shelter and it remains out of use until the Parks Department can get back to finishing the topsoil/seeding.
