Wendy Wendorf of Homestead Realty supports Washington County Sheriff’s D.A.R.E program

West Bend, WI – Wendy Wendorf of Homestead Realty and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department D.A.R.E program are collecting used ink cartridges. To help fund this great program in schools across Washington County, WI.

The goal of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program is to teach effective peer resistance-and-refusal skills so adolescents can say “no” to drugs and their friends who may want them to use drugs.

D.A.R.E. also helps build a students’ social skills and enhance their self-esteem; these are character traits believed to be linked to adolescent drug use.

Here is how you can help.

Bring in any used ink cartridges from work or home to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and drop it off in the lobby Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Homestead Realty’s Wendy Wendorf offers pick up.

The cartridges get recycled, and all proceeds go right to the D.A.R.E. program.

It’s a great charity and an easy way to help the community.
