The Family Dollar, 1519 W. Washington St., is closing. Signs posted at the store advertise a big 25% off sale as the store prepares to close August 24.
Store management was not available for comment however the store co-manager said it appears Family Dollar will close and a Dollar Tree will open.
West Bend already has a Dollar Tree located in the Paradise Mall Shopping Center next to the Hallmark Store and just to the west of Chocolate Factory.
The store co-manager said she found out Sunday the Family Dollar was closing.
The woman confirmed there would be two Dollar Trees in West Bend.
The Family Dollar should close by August 24. No word on when the Dollar Tree will open.
