Jim Benike, owner of A.M. Construction bought the properties at 2593 and 2601 S. Main Street in West Bend. He paid $300,000 to Minz Supply, Inc. for the land and buildings.
The sale was officially recorded Jan. 27, 2016.
Benike said he’s going to either sell the building next door (2593 S. Main St.) to his main shop. 
George Minz, a steel building contractor, owned the buildings years ago and then Jim & Dave’s Building Supply set up shop in the space where Benike has his storefront A.M. Construction.
The two lots on the property were assessed together in 2015 at $736,100.
