6th Grade:  Emma Schwendimann

The Junior High teachers unanimously agree that Emma is an example of all the qualities we look for in a student. She has shown herself to be a hard worker, both independently and in groups. She always puts forth her best effort to learn and show what she has learned. She is kind and patient with her peers, and always willing to help. She serves at masses. Outside of school, Emma plays on a club volleyball team and hopes to play D1 volleyball in college like her mom did.

7th Grade:  Addi Schrauth

Addi is a very hard worker. She pushes herself to understand and produce work that shows she understands. Addi is friendly to everyone and offers to help students and teachers alike. She serves at masses and as a patrol. She has the distinction of being the first of her class to pass all of her prayers in Spanish. Her favorite class is science. Addi has a wide variety of interests including swimming, skiing, and crocheting. She is working towards getting her red belt in taekwondo.

8th Grade: Joey Kohnen

Joey’s teachers appreciate Joey for being a focused student as well as one who will take on a challenge with a positive attitude. He is a well-rounded student, but particularly enjoys algebra class. Joey is a good role model for peers as well as younger students at Holy Angels. In fact, teachers comment that he is an exemplary big buddy. Joey enjoys athletics including golf and basketball. His goal is to make it to the NBA as a player or coach.
