West Bend, WI – Golden Owl Cafe, 243 N. Main Street in West Bend, WI, is gearing up for lunch very soon and the Cafe will be hiring one or two part-time kitchen positions.
As we grow there is much opportunity and room for expansion in the culinary sense.
This would be a fantastic starter position for anyone recently graduated from pastry/culinary studies, a line cook looking for less hours and more culinary freedom, an experienced prep/line cook looking to expand opportunity, or someone who wants to pick up some morning hours.
The position requires the following duties: line cooking a menu of breakfast items, lunch items, light baking, cleaning, and prepping.
Due to the fast-paced environment, we are asking those who apply have previous experience in a commercial kitchen setting and are able to work independently.
Applicants must be available most weekends and at least two mornings/afternoons during the week.
The shift begins at 7:30 a.m. on weekends and at 5:30 a.m. during the week.
Pay for this position will be based on performance after a short training/staging period but begins at no less than $13 having met the above requirements.
