July 31, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – Ella Walecki, 15, with the Boltonville Firecrackers. My 1,695-pound dairy steer won a red ribbon during the Washington County Fair Jr. Livestock Auction, and we received a bid of $3.75 a pound.
“I will probably save the money from the auction for what I decide on doing after high school and for a car. Throughout the past months and the whole process, I’ve learned patience, work ethic, and leadership skills. Those are all big things when it comes to training, raising and getting ready for showing animals at the fair.
