Kettle Moraine Lutheran falls to Waupun despite incredible teamwork by Chargers By Jacob Moeller

Jan. 31, 2017 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran came up just short as the  defending WIAA state champions Waupun on Tuesday, falling 59-51.

The Chargers rode 23 points from Joey Behm and 15 more by Grant Biesterfeld to stay within striking distance of the Warriors.

Sophomore Marcus Domask added 16 points and 10 rebounds in Waupun’s third consecutive victory.

The Warriors are now 6-2 in the East Central Conference, two games behind first place Ripon.

A loss drops KML to 7-9 on the season, 3-5 in the ECC.

The Chargers are back in action Friday, traveling to Winneconne.
