Dec. 10, 2016 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School will present a Christmas choral concert on Saturday, Dec.10 at 7 p.m. in its Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature KML’s Kantorei Choir, Concert Choir, Traveling Choir, and Echoes. The Kantorei Choir is the co-ed freshman choir who participate in multiple concerts throughout the year.

KML’s Concert Choir, a co-ed choir composed of sophomores through seniors, participates in KML’s major concerts including the Fall, Christmas, Sacred, and Spring Concerts, Family Music Fest, and WSMA Festivals.

Traveling Choir, the most elite choir, also participates in the same events as the Concert Choir. However, it also assists in leading worship by singing in different southeastern WELS and ELS churches in Wisconsin. Echoes is an auditioned, extracurricular show and jazz choir. Students perform in the community events and various festivals. KML’s Echoes has consistently received superior ratings at WSMA events.

The concert is directed by Jon Pasbrig, the choir director of KML and chairman of KML’s fine arts department.

Admission to the concert is free, although a free-will offering will be gathered for the school.

Senior Alyssa Leitzke, an alto 1 of KML’s Traveling Choir and Echoes, said, “We’ve spent a ton of time working on these Christmas songs, and we really hope all of our hard work pays off. I hope everyone who comes enjoys the concert and more importantly the message of the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas!”

KML is a 3399 Division Road in Jackson. Free parking is available.
