KML boys basketball kicks off season tonight against University School of Milwaukee

Kettle Moraine Lutheran

Nov. 29, 2016 – Jackson, WI – The Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School boys basketball team opens its season Tuesday, squaring off against the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats.

The two schools have met the last four seasons, with the Chargers coming out on top each time.

The Wildcats boast a strong group of seniors this season, including forwards Walter Taylor and Will Koch.

The duo combined for 58 points in USM’s first two games of the season at the Assumption High School Cranberry Classic.

With a young and inexperienced squad KML will rely on seniors Joey Behm, Mason Shambeau, and Tanner Stuck to lead the way.

In the last meeting between the schools, Behm posted a solid 6 points, 2 assists, and 6 steals, helping the Chargers to an 80-49 victory.

If Behm and the rest of the KML squad perform, the Chargers should tally its fifth consecutive victory over the Wildcats.

The game tips at 7:15 p.m. at University School in Milwaukee.
