May 22, 2020 – Hartford, WI – A memorial stone has been placed at Sawyer Park just in time for Hartford’s observances of Memorial Day.

These are private events  for Veterans and their families

By; United Vietnam Vets of Hartford,  American Legion Post 19, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 8834

Sunday, May 24 7 p.m – 11 p.m. 

*Sawyer Park :  A watch Fire Ritual from WW l       Bring a Lawn Chair and a beverage

Monday, May 25 starting at 7:30 a.m.   

Sawyer Park; Put up the Ave. of Flags

Military Honors 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.     

Meet in Shimon’s Parking lot at 8:45 am

Please note the order has changed this year !      

9:00am : Old St Kilian’s Cemetery

9:15am : St Kilian’s Cemetery

9:30 am : Pleasant Hill Cemetery

9:30 am : Union Cemetery

10 a.m.: In front of City Hall

10:05 a.m.  At the Vietnam Memorial

 Police Escort, up to Sawyer Park at 10:15

About 30 Veterans will be walking and a couple in cars

 

10:30 a.m. Listen to WTKM Memorial Program at the Park with social distancing.

There will be tables and Beverages, compliments of our 3 groups

10:55 a.m. : Conclude with Military Honors in Sawyer Park and disperse.
